WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) was named to Americans for Prosperity’s first ever “Pioneers for Prosperity” list of policy champions for the 117^th Congress. Americans for Prosperity is the leading grassroots organization fighting for lower taxes and limited government.

WASHINGTON - U.S. Representatives Victoria Spartz (IN-05) and Pramila Jayapal (WA-07) today introduced the bipartisan Stop Anticompetitive Healthcare Act. The bill would amend the Federal Trade Commission Act to expand antitrust enforcement to non-profit hospitals. Currently, the FTC has no ability to stop anticompetitive actions by non-profit hospital systems.

Fishers, IN – Last week, Rep. Spartz announced KJ Sawada, Fishers High School Junior, as a winner for the 2022 Congressional App Challenge (CAC) for Indiana’s 5^th Congressional District. KJ’s app called the “Class Tracker” tracks each class a student has taken in high school and calculates the credit requirements for graduation for different diplomas.

 CARMEL, IN – This week, Rep. Spartz (R-IN) announced the names of twenty-two high school seniors across Indiana's Fifth District who have been nominated to attend the United States Service Academies.

WASHINGTON D.C. – This week, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) joined Reps. Jared Golden (D-ME), Dan Kildee (D-MI), and Mike Turner (R-OH) in sending a bipartisan letter to House Leadership to stress the importance of a longer-term reauthorization of the Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC).

WASHINGTON, D.C. - This week, H.R. 5796, the ‘Patents for Humanity Act of 2021’, led by U.S. Representative Victoria Spartz (R-IN) and Leader-Elect Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), passed the U.S. House of Representatives on a bipartisan basis. The bill will now head to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law.
