Call for IN-05 Submissions

Noblesville, IN – Today, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) announced the 2023 Congressional Art Competition. Started in 1982 by the U.S. House of Representatives, this annual competition highlights high school students' artistic works from across the country.

“Indiana's Fifth District is full of talented artists, and I encourage interested high school students to participate in this year's Congressional Art Competition,” said Rep. Spartz. “Art is a valuable part of education and I am pleased to host this program again this year.”

The first-place winner’s submission will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol, along with other winners nationwide for one year.

Johnathan Pyle, a senior at Madison-Grant High School in Fairmount, IN, won first place in last year’s competition with his work titled “Indiana Glass Bottles on a Counter.”
