Spartz Seeks Purple Heart Award for Fallen Servicemen of Jolly 51 Crash

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) and six of her fellow Members of Congress petitioned U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to award the Purple Heart to the seven fallen heroes in the “Jolly 51” helicopter crash in Iraq on March 15, 2018, including Major Christopher Zanetis of Carmel, Indiana.  

“Honoring our fallen soldiers is the duty of a grateful nation,” said Rep. Spartz “We can never forget our fellow Americans who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.”
