Spartz Requests Wray Explain FBI’s Potentially “Substantial Aid to Kremlin’s War Effort“ and Censorship of Americans

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Spartz (IN-05) sent a letter to FBI Director Wray requesting a briefing on the FBI's collaboration in 2022 with a foreign government, compromised Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), to censor Americans.
“Many actions of the FBI in recent years are alarming and undermining the credibility of the agency - warrantless surveillance, censorship, intimidation, and politicization,” Spartz said. “Congress has a duty to the American people to protect their rights and cannot allow these blatant violations to continue with no real consequences.”
The Judiciary Committee report revealed that the FBI, acting on behalf of the Russian-infiltrated SBU, requested social media platforms to remove or suspend authentic accounts of Americans.
