Rep. Spartz Visits Bosma Enterprises in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – U.S. Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) met with employees at Bosma Enterprises and toured the organization’s Indianapolis packing and shipping warehouse facility today, which is staffed mostly by people who are blind or visually impaired.

“The work of organizations like Bosma Enterprises and the nonprofit community as a whole is so important for the vitality of our cities, towns and neighborhoods. Every Hoosier has the ability to make a difference and contribute to society in significant ways,” said Rep. Spartz. “I appreciate Jeff Mittman and his team for showing me the great work that is being accomplished by the organization and individuals who are blind or visually impaired.”

Bosma Enterprises is Indiana’s largest employer of workers with vision loss. The nonprofit organization that has been helping Hoosiers who are blind or visually impaired for more than 100 years, creating opportunities that empower them to regain and retain their independence and self-sufficiency. Bosma Enterprises offers personalized programs including counseling, job placement, and training for daily living.
