Congresswoman Spartz Continues her District Tour with Stops in Grant and Blackford Counties
UPLAND, Ind. -- Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) was in Grant and Blackford counties today, where she was a guest speaker for a constitutional law class at Taylor University and met with Interim President Paige Comstock Cunningham before sitting down with the mayors of Hartford City and Marion.
“It was nice to be back in the classroom again, speaking with young and emerging leaders and hearing their thoughts on our system of governance,” said Rep. Spartz. “I was also happy to connect with local leaders in Hartford City and Marion as a part of my goal to connect with local government leaders in all eight counties of the 5th District. Federal, state, and local governments collaborating with for-profit and nonprofit sectors is essential for our success in resolving some serious challenges facing our district and our nation.”
“As Mayor, my vision is economic growth for our community,” said Hartford City Mayor, Dan Eckstein. “I appreciate Congresswoman Spartz taking time out of her schedule to visit and further fuel that vision of growing Hartford City.
